You can get a Bigfoot kit out of a tool shop in Sydney ( machine, 4 pads & 2 x litre bottle of compound ) for $580.00 ing gst get in touch with Damien at Addicted to Detail - Whitsundays- he will have the contact as he just bought one.

Wish this machine was around years ago..save so much time and therefore makes these correction jobs more profitable.

    Nice work Cam!

The Bigfoot looks very impressive, the review Mario did a while ago favored the Flex however the same polishes weren't used so not really a fair comparison between the 2 i guess.

Definitely gone of the days using a rotary and then cleaning up trails like you said. Sometimes i wish the Flex had a bit more in it so i didn't have to break out the rotary and by the sounds of it the Bigfoot is the next step up!

That test was flawed for that very reason... Ask Mario again what he thinks of the Bigfoot... He stopped in at my shop on his way home from Sydney and I put him to work on a dealer car that needed paint correction. He did half the car with the Flex & the other half with the Bigfoot both with the same pads

I dont mind the Rupes compounds....like most compounds, they work better on some paints than others. The good thing is that they are cheap LOL. Ive been using all types of pads on the Bigfoot too. The rupes blue cutting pad and the rupes course compound ( zephir ) is a killer paint removing combo...as good, if not better than a wool pad!

    Thanks!!

Pretty sure the supplier is VG which is only 15min away, as they have it for the price you mentioned with those extra, cant believe some other tool stores are trying to flog it for $220 more! Will go check it out, thanks!

What a rort that is Scott. The paint shop in Dubbo will do them for $600 trade price. I'm happy with that as I don't have to pay freight and they are local enough for me if I have any issues.

For anyone after one its worthwhile to shop around as you may find one locally that will match the $585 damo got his for.
