I had a sneaking suspicion that this car had never ever seen the car wash before because at only 5 months old, it was awfully dirty.

I asked old mate when he came to collect and he laughed and said with a crackle " mate all I've done is put fuel in it and drive it Razz "

We put a coat of Duragloss 105 on thepaintwork so it should be a little easier to clean next time Wink

Good job! Money well spent I reckon. He'd have to be delighted with that - well, up until he visits again at the end of the year...? Very Happy

+1

Epic effort. If it hadn't been washed at least that means no swirls!

Thanks, they were cleaned by first prespraying with Autosmart Truck Steam and left to dwell then rinsed with high pressure hot water. I followed this routine again with Autosmart Triple and again with Autosmart Aliking.

Only a few drops of water make their way inside the car which are simply dried with an extraction machine.

geez...only few drops went inside the car! It comes down to technique & experience I guess! I tried once with garden hose and pretty much wet the whole boot Very Happy
I'll give it a go with pressure washer next time. do you keep the nozzle close to the surface ?
